The waveform analysis uses the following files:
   wavestore.mat  -- a structure with 179 amplitude normalized V4 waveforms
   waveanalysis.m -- the main matlab routine to make a histogram and do stats
   HartigansDipSignifTest.m -- routine to do Hartigan's signif test
   HartigansDipTest.m -- routine for Hartigan's signif test
   
   The Hartigan's code is form Melcher & Ringach (2002):
      30.  Hartigan and Hartigan PM (1985).  The dip test of unimodality.  
           Annals of Statistics. 13:70-84.
      31.  Mechler F and Ringach DL (2002). On the classification of 
           simple and complex cells.  Vision Res.  42: 1017-33.

To use the code in the waveform analysis:
  In matlab:
    >  load wavestore;
    > wave_analysis(wavestore);
    
This should produce plots and give results.  Press return after
it prints each result of the Hartigan's test (which takes a while
to run because it uses a bootstrap method to estimate significance).
