I'm currently a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Tom Albright, working with Gene Stoner on the psychophysics and physiology of visual motion processing, more particularly center-surround interactions.
I was born in 1973, in Strasbourg, France. After College ("classes préparatoires") in Math, Physics and Biology, I moved to Paris in 1993 to study more specifically biology and neuroscience. In 1997, I graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (rue d'Ulm), and got a MSc (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies) in neuroscience at the University of Paris VI (Jussieu).

I did my Ph.D. in the L.P.P.A. (lab. Physiol. Perception & Action) at the Collège de France in Paris, under the supervision of Pr. Alain Berthoz and Dr. Werner Graf. My work focused on perception-action interface, more particularly looking for and analyzing the head movement-related neuronal signals in the parietal cortex.

I also had medical training experience at Necker Hospital Medical School (University of Paris V) as an extern.

I then worked in the laboratory of Alex Pouget, at the University of Rochester, to get some training in computational neuroscience.
